How to use

Step 1
Inject subcutaneously once weekly, on the same day each week.

Rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh or upper arm).

Do not use if the solution is cloudy or discoloured.

Dispose of the pen in a sharps container after use.
Store between 2°C and 8°C.
Store refrigerated at 2°C–8°C. Do not freeze. May be kept below 30°C for up to 6 weeks before first use. Keep the pen capped when not in use.
Common — Nausea & Digestion
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea/constipation, abdominal pain, appetite loss — usually in the first weeks, often temporary. Eat smaller meals, titrate gradually with your doctor.
Rare but important
Persistent severe vomiting, severe abdominal pain (possible pancreatitis), gallbladder complaints, allergic reaction — seek immediate medical advice.
Not suitable for
Personal/family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma / MEN 2, severe gastroparesis, history of pancreatitis, pregnancy/breastfeeding.
